3. Insecurity: Narcissists deeply insecure individuals who have low self-esteem. When a relationship ends, their insecurities may be heightened, and they may try to bring you down to feel better about themselves.
4. Lack of empathy: Narcissists empathy , making it difficult for them to understand the impact their actions have on others. They may hurt you without understanding or caring about the consequences.
5. Projection: Narcissists may project their negative feelings and self-blame onto you. They may try to hurt you to deflect attention from their own flaws and insecurities.
