Herbal Medication for ADHD
According to the Mayo Clinic, ADHD is a chronic condition that affects millions of children and often persists into adulthood. When a child is suspected of having ADHD, doctors are often quick to prescribe medications, such as Ritalin and Adderall. These medications do work very well in children with severe symptoms of ADHD. They can help a child to focus. Medications are not always the best option for every child, and not every parent wants to medicate. There are some herbal alternatives in treating ADHD. You should speak with your child's physician before you start any herbal treatment.-
