How to Get a Free Medic Alert Bracelet

A MedicAlert membership provides a valuable service to those with medical conditions. If you are unable to speak for yourself, your MedicAlert bracelet can communicate pertinent information, such as food allergies or that you have heart disease or diabetes, to medical personnel. In addition to learning from the engraved markings on your bracelet, emergency responders can call the MedicAlert hotline to learn more about your medical history. MedicAlert offers free 1-year memberships and bracelets to needy individuals with food allergies.
