2
Clean your house often. Keeping a clean home can drastically reduce your exposure to allergens. Frequent vacuuming and dusting is key to controlling your allergies. Focus on carpets, upholstered furniture and bedding, as these are prime places for allergens to accumulate. If cleaning sets off your allergies, wear a face mask or get a friend or family member to clean for you.

Replace the air filters in your home. Dirty filters can reduce the air quality in your home and house some troublesome allergens, like dirt, mold, dust, dander, pollen. There is no correct time to replace filters. Some people with severe allergies may need to change them more often than somebody with mild to moderate allergies. You know your body, so it's up to you to judge.
