How to Make a Saline Nasal Solution

- 1 liter of distilled water
- Noniodized salt
- Baking soda

Pickling and Kosher salts are noniodine salts that can be used to make saline solution. Add 1/4 teaspoon of noniodized salt to 2 cups of distilled water.

Add a pinch of baking soda to cup of salt water and mix well before use.

Discard any remaining saline solution after use.
Prepare 1 Liter for 1 Week Storage

Add 2 to 3 tsp. of noniodized salt to a liter of distilled water.

Add 1 tsp. of baking soda to the salt water. Close the container and shake well to mix the solution.

Close tightly and store saline solution in a cool dark place, such as under the sink or in the refrigerator. The solution can be stored for up to a week.
