How to Keep Your House Allergy Free

If you suffer from allergies, you know just how annoying it can be. Allergies affect everyone differently. Some people are sensitive to outdoor allergies, while other people are sensitive to indoor allergies. If you suffer from outdoor allergies, those allergens can be tracked into your home, causing your symptoms to wreak havoc even when you're indoors. Whether you suffer from indoor or outdoor allergies, there are things you can do to keep you home allergy proof. Here are a few ways on how to keep your house allergy free.

      Wash your bedding regularly. Wash your sheets and pillowcases in hot water at least twice a week. Wash any blankets or comforters once a week. Vacuum your mattress with a vacuum cleaner that has a HEPA filter once a week.

      Keep doors and windows closed as much as possible. If a door or window is left open, outdoor allergens can get into your home easily.

      Vacuum or wash your upholstery once a week. Upholstered furniture tends to collect a lot of dust, pollen and dander. Look into buying leather furniture, as leather is easy to keep clean just by wiping it down with a wet cloth.
