Wheat & Yeast Allergy Symptoms
Allergies to both wheat and yeast can be a nuisance and, depending on the severity, can be extremely dangerous. A food allergy is typically a sudden onset of symptoms due to a reaction caused by a chemical or protein that is found in the food, such as the gluten found in wheat. If you consume products with wheat or yeast and experience certain symptoms, you may be allergic.-
Coughing

With both a yeast and wheat allergies, sufferers may begin coughing and experiencing a sore throat. These conditions can range from minor to severe, and can cause throat to swell and close off of the airway. If you begin to have difficulty breathing, seek medical attention immediately.
Intestinal Distress

Another common sign of an allergy is persistent constipation or diarrhea after consuming food with wheat and/or yeast. In certain cases, nausea is a common feeling. If you consume wheat or yeast and find that you experience inconsistent bowel movements or are feeling sick to your stomach, it may be a sign that you have an allergy.
Rash

A rash or hives can develop when one has a food allergy. If you begin to feel itchy or notice discoloration, discomfort or blotchiness after meal time, it may be the result of an allergic reaction to something you've eaten.
Eye and Nose Irritation

If your eyes and nose begin feeling irritated and itchy and you don't a cold or sinus problems, it's a possible sign that something else may be going on. If your nose or eyes begin to run uncontrollably, consult an allergist or a physician.
Headache

Wheat and yeast allergy sufferers often complain of a headache, ranging from dull to severe. In some more serious cases, patients have even complained of depression and memory loss. Allergies typically affect a person's immune system and can cause organs to malfunction. If you become easily confused or anxious after consuming these products, an allergic reaction could be the culprit.
Organ Failure

In the most severe of cases, because allergies typically affect a person's immune system, organ failure can occur. If you begin feeling extremely ill, notice that your body is not functioning properly, or suspect that something in your body is not right, consult a medical professional immediately.
