Signs & Symptoms of Airborne Disease
There are several diseases that a person can get from bacteria or viruses in the air. Each of these diseases will present itself first with several symptoms. If you have one or more of these symptoms, consult a doctor.-
Chicken Pox

The airborne disease chicken pox appears as a rash which will itch. A reactivated form of chicken pox is called shingles, which can be much more serious that chicken pox.
Influenza

The influenza virus can be spread through airborne particles. Symptoms of influenza include chills, fever, headaches, malaise and muscle aches and pains.
Respiratory Virus

Several airborne diseases can cause respiratory issues. Symptoms of these disease include fever, cough, nasal congestion, pneumonia, rhinitis (runny nose) and tonsillitis.
Mumps

Mumps are caused by an airborne virus. Symptoms for mumps are fever and swelling and tenderness of the salivary glands 16 to 18 days after being infected.
Measles

Measles, also known as rubeola, is transferred in airborne particles. Symptoms of measles include nasal discharge, fever, headaches, conjunctivitis and a rash.
