How To Prepare a Colloidal Silver Flush

As a result of allergies or a bacterial infection, the sinuses can become clogged with mucous. This can lead to an uncomfortable pressure and can worsen the infection as germs within the passages continue to multiply. A number of over-the-counter products can address the problem, but you can create your own remedy at home: a colloidal silver flush.

Instructions

    • 1

Pour 1 oz. of pure colloidal silver into a small bowl.

    • 2

Add 1/8 tsp. of xylitol (a naturally occurring sugar substitute) to the colloidal silver, which will prevent the silver from creating a burning sensation in the nasal passages.

    • 3

Fill the bottom of a metal bowl or pot with hot water.

    • 4

Place the bowl with the silver/xylitol mixture into the hot water, but do not allow the water to seep over the edge of the bowl and into the mixture. Using a thermometer, allow the mixture to reach around 100 degrees to increase comfort when flushing the nose.

    • 5

Use an eyedropper to insert the warmed solution into each nostril.
