How to Moisturize Hives on the Face

According to Mothernature.com, approximately ten to twenty percent of the population will experience hives at least once during their lifetime. Hives are characterized by small, red, itchy bumps that are usually triggered by an allergic reaction. Normally, hives occur in the torso area and disappear on their own. Occasionally, hives appear on the face and, on some people, can linger for an extended length of time. Dry skin can irritate hives and prevent them from healing; however, moisturizing hives can help to soothe the skin during the healing process.
