The first step in laser treatment of allergies is testing for the cause of your allergies. A special frequency test lists 500 known allergens and tests your body's reaction to them. The frequency test is performed by placing an electric clip on a patient's finger. A machine sends 10,000 different bio-frequency signals throughout the body; these bio-frequencies mimic the bio-frequencies of the 500 particular allergens. A negative reaction to a certain bio-frequency is representative of an allergen. Once the allergens are discovered, the laser treatment begins.
A cold laser (a laser with minimal energy, preventing the heat associated with other lasers) is applied up and down the spine. This process is also often used in coordination with acupuncture. The acupuncture is believed to hasten up the process of allergy relief; however, there is no solid scientific research substantiating acupuncture's role in allergy treatment with a laser.
