Thoroughly clean and dust your home to remove any allergens. Wash pillows, quilts and comforters as well. Once you do this deep clean, keep the windows closed and use the air conditioner to prevent further contamination.

Purchasing an air purifier with a HEPA filter will remove 99 percent of the allergens from the air. Choose a size large enough to filter the air in your bedroom so that you can get a solid night's sleep.

3
Visit your local farmer's market and purchase honey that was produced as close to your home as possible. Consume a tbsp. a day, either straight or in tea. By ingesting the honey made from local pollens, your body will build a tolerance to it.

Stinging nettle is a natural antihistamine that can be taken to help relieve seasonal allergies. It does not have the same side effects as a medication. Approximately 300 milligrams a day is an appropriate amount to treat allergies.

Try a Neti pot to flush pollen and other allergens from your sinuses. The Neti pot is filled with lukewarm salt water, which is then used to clean your nasal passages.
