  1. Nicergoline

    • Nicergoline is used to treat senile dementia and increases mental alertness and clarity by improving blood flow to the brain.

    Selegiline

    • This drug was discovered in Hungary in the 1960s and is currently used to treat depression, Parkinson's disease and senile dementia.

    Hydergine

    • Hydergine, also known as ergoloid, is used to treat cognitive degeneration in the elderly including dementia and Alzheimer's disease. It has also been proven effective in the recovery after having a stroke.

    Meclofenoxate

    • Meclofenoxate is shown to improve memory, mental functioning and may have anti-aging effects. It is used to treat senile dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

    Fipexide

    • This drug has been used to treat senile dementia in Europe, but its use is dwindling due to possible adverse reactions.
