Clove oil is known to have quick soothing and analgesic properties. Directly apply clove oil to the affected areas. Light massage will allow the oil to get absorbed through the skin and quickly relieve pain and reduce inflammation.
Take a warm bath in water containing about half a kilo of Epsom salts. Soaking in the water for at least 30 minutes will improve blood circulation in the joints and increase your overall body temperature to bring you fast relief from muscle and joint inflammation.
Massage your inflamed joints with honey and then cover them with a cabbage leaf tied in place overnight. This should take care of the pain and allow you to sleep through the night.
