CoQ10 supplements have been touted as a life-extending tonic. They is said to work as an anti-oxidant, removing stress and free radicals. A study published in the July 1998 issue of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, reported that mice with ALS treated with CoQ10 lived much longer than mice with ALS that were not given the supplement.
