Why do people with autism think like animals?

This is inaccurate. There is no scientific evidence to suggest that people with autism "think like animals." Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech, and nonverbal communication, among other symptoms. There is tremendous variation in the way that people with ASD think, and these thinking patterns are similar to those found in the general population.
