My 2.5 year-old speak till now but he looks normal would still be autistic?
Autism is a complex neurodevelopmental condition that affects a person's ability to communicate and interact with others. While language delay can be a sign of autism, it does not necessarily mean that a child is autistic. Many children with language delays do not have autism, and some children with autism do not have significant language delays.
Early intervention is crucial for children with autism, so if you are concerned about your child's development, it is important to talk to your doctor. A doctor can assess your child's development and determine if they meet the criteria for an autism diagnosis.
Here are some signs that may indicate autism:
* Difficulty with social interactions, such as making eye contact, understanding social cues, or interacting with peers
* Repetitive behaviors or interests, such as lining up toys or repeating words or phrases
* Sensory sensitivities, such as being over- or under-sensitive to certain textures, sounds, or smells
* Difficulty with communication, such as delayed speech or language development, or difficulty understanding or expressing language
If you are concerned about your child's development, talk to your doctor. Early diagnosis and intervention can make a big difference in the long-term outcome for children with autism.
