Initial Setup
-
1
Assemble your inversion machine by following the instructions provided with it exactly.
-
2
Adjust the foot support arm on the machine to your height in inches. Do this prior to every single use.
-
3
Ensure that the safety strap is secured to both the frame and table.
-
4
Adjust the safety tether strap for your angle of incline. It is suggested that beginners start at 25 degrees.
-
5
Tilt your table to check the maximum angle of incline. You may have to adjust the tether strap to allow for the full range of motion.
Balancing the Table
-
6
Lock your feet into place using the heel holder.
-
7
Lie back onto the table with your arms at your sides.
-
8
Move your hands so that they are crossing over your chest. At this point, the table will start to level.
-
9
Notice the location of your head. It should be above your feet. If it is lower than your feet, you will need to adjust your height to a higher setting.
-
10
Repeat these steps until your head is just slightly above your foot in the parallel, or level, position.
Using the Inversion Table
-
11
Lock your feet into place using the heel holder.
-
12
Lie back onto the table with your arms at your side.
-
13
Slowly raise your arms. You will feel the table start to rotate backward. When your arms are completely raised, you will be in the farthest position back.
-
14
Lower your arms. You will start to move back to the original position. You should return to the position when your arms are by your side again.
-
15
Use the machine for around five minutes twice a day.
Inversion Table Maintenance
-
16
Check to make sure that all fasteners such as nuts and bolts are securely attached before each use and after each use.
-
17
Check each part weekly to ensure that there is no damage. If there is, order a new part from the manufacturer.
-
18
Clean the upholstery with a mixture of soap and water. You may also use a vinyl treatment, which will add to the life of your upholstery.
-
19
Clean any chrome pieces on your machine with chrome polish.
-
20
Check any welded joints for cracks. If there are, do not use the device.
-
21
Lubricate any moving parks with aerosol or silicone spray. Do not use oil.
