Duration of the Injections

Depending on the severity of the pain, a back specialist will usually prescribe three injections over a three week period. This procedure is done as outpatient, taking only fifteen to twenty minutes.

People who shouldn't consider having these pain injections are pregnant women and those who have high blood pressure.
