Contact your nearest Fort Worth Plasma Donation Center. Schedule a time and date to visit the center for a physical exam and blood work.

2
Provide the center with proof of your identity, such as a driver's license, state ID card or passport, and proof of your citizenship, such as your birth certificate or social security card.
-
3
Meet with the plasma center's doctor to undergo a physical exam and answer questions regarding your medical history. Blood is drawn and tested and your eligibility is then determined.

Set aside about two hours for your initial donation. You will spend this time hooked to a machine that extracts your blood, removes the plasma and returns the blood to your body. You are encouraged to bring a form of entertainment to keep yourself from becoming bored during the donation process. A book, magazine or your iPod are just a few suggestions.

Receive compensation for your donation. The rate varies based on where you donate. You are eligible to donate plasma twice a week provided you only donate once every 48 hours.
