Can a person who has AB blood accept from any type?

A person with AB blood type, also known as the universal recipient, can receive blood transfusions from all other blood groups. This is because AB blood does not have antibodies against either the A or B antigens, making it compatible with all other blood types. However, an AB blood type individual can only donate to someone with AB blood type, as their blood contains both A and B antigens, which could cause an adverse reaction in individuals with other blood types.
