Is there antibodies in a packed RBC of type b when transfused to AB?

When transfusing packed red blood cells (RBCs) of type B to an AB recipient, there are no antibodies present in the transfused RBCs that can cause an adverse reaction. This is because type B RBCs do not carry anti-A or anti-B antibodies on their surface. The AB recipient has both A and B antigens on their RBCs, so they do not produce antibodies against these antigens. Therefore, the transfusion of type B RBCs to an AB recipient is compatible and does not pose any risk of antibody-mediated hemolytic reactions.
