Call a Little Rock plasma donation center to make an appointment to donate your plasma. At your initial appointment, you are required to show proof of your identity with photo identification; provide a valid Arkansas driver license, passport, government or military ID or an Arkansas-issued photo ID card. You must also present proof of your Social Security Number.

Complete the paperwork required to donate when you arrive for your initial donation. You must provide your complete name, contact information and health history. You must also agree to see a physician for a full physical exam and blood work.

Discuss your health history and your family health history with the physician while you undergo your physical exam. Blood is taken and tested during your exam.

Entertain yourself while you are hooked to the donation machine by reading a book or listening to music on your iPod. Your initial donation appointment takes between one and two hours. You may donate up to twice a week, provided you do not donate more than once in a 48-hour period.
