Signs of Acidity in Body
A quantity of acid is in the blood of every person. Regulating this acid level maintains general health and allows you to avoid certain extreme health risks. Your body can naturally adjust your levels of acid, but it can only do so much. Running to the doctor to have him check your pH levels is expensive, but if you watch for certain signs, you will know when to take action.-
Aches and Pains
-
Note specific aches and pains in your body. Chest, joint and muscle pains are common signs. If the pain is agonizing, go to your doctor immediately. You should note dull pains or a consistent ache that persists for days. Your body's acid travels through your bloodstream and these are areas that are weak to any blood carried substance. Your body will work to lower your acid levels if they are too high, so you may notice that this pain can go away for days at a time depending on your diet and activity. Additionally, if you suffer from chronic bone, joint or muscle problems such as osteoporosis, increased pH levels could manifest as symptoms of your disease.
Worsening Conditions
-
A high pH level can manifest as an increase to the severity of current conditions. If you suffer from hearing loss, an estrogen imbalance, gallbladder problems, hemorrhoids, herpes, tinnitus or ulcers, you may notice a heightened degree or extended duration of your normal symptoms. Keep a record of your symptoms and outbreaks. If you notice that these are happening irregularly, this could be the result of a high pH level in your body.
Ignored Symptoms
-
Many people overlook some of the symptoms of a high pH level. Hot flashes, a runny nose, sensitive skin, upset stomach, join swelling and muscle fatigue are things that you may self medicate and ignore as possible symptoms. The key to knowing your pH level is elevated or just experiencing symptoms of something less severe is to note how long these symptoms persist. If your pH level is high, these symptoms can last for days and home medicine will do little to alleviate your problems.
Severe Symptoms
-
The most severe symptoms are easy to identify as problems. Appendicitis, hardened arteries, back disease, ulcers and long spells of weakness are things you should never try to home medicate but these issues are common symptoms of a high pH level. If you experience any of these symptoms, you should see your doctor immediately or go to the hospital.
