How to Use an Enzyme to Clear Plaque in the Arteries

Clogged arteries are responsible for many health problems. Being proactive in preventing and clearing your arteries and keeping your blood pressure from climbing should be a health-smart decision that you engage in. You can do so by adding antioxidants and proteolytic enzymes or systemic enzymes, with serrapeptase and nattokinase inside them, to your body to prevent and breakdown clogs.

Eat raw foods. When foods are cooked, many of the enzymes are lost. Stay away from hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils. Switch to whole grain breads, crackers, and bagels. Eat foods such as oatmeal and foods high in vitamin K, such as soybeans, spinach, broccoli, brussels sprouts, green vegetables, and organic olive and canola oil, and drink pomegranite juice. Eat beans at least three times a week, and each day have five servings of fruits and vegetables. Fish should be included in your diet at least twice a week.

    • 2

Take orally administered enzymes on an empty stomach. They should be consumed at least 1 hour before or 1½ hours after meals. Take enzymes such as lipase and amylase, which have been shown to decrease arteriosclerotic plaques.

    • 3

Start with relatively high doses of systemic enzyme therapy. Enzymes are large molecules, and their distribution, transportation, and absorption are different from those of small molecules.

Take Omega-3 fish oil supplements and/or eat fish three times weekly. Omega-3 fish oils are known to help free plaque from artery walls. The recommended dosage varies, depending on what your intentions are. You can get Omega-3 fish oil guidelines at healthcentral.com.
