Circulation Problems

Poor circulation is often called peripheral vascular disease. Many people experience PVD in their senior years, though smoking, diabetes and inactivity can also play into issues with circulation.
  1. Definition

    • Peripheral vascular disease refers to issues with blood flow in the body because of blockages in the veins and arteries.

    Treatment

    • Peripheral vascular disease is treated using drugs and by altering the diet. A supervised exercise regimen is also necessary to treat poor circulation.
