How to Build a Rollator
The rollator is a type of walker that improves balance and walking abilities. It has three or four wheels, and some models have locking hand brakes for safety. The rollator often has an attached seat, allowing the user to stop and rest. Basket and tray accessories can be added to the rollator as well. Rollators can be folded for easy transport and storage. They are custom ordered and typically assembled before delivery; however, sometimes the rollator must be built after it is shipped.Things You'll Need

Unfold the rollator frame and press the locking mechanisms down to secure the legs in position. Push the seat down until it clicks into place. Put one handle into the tube on the side corresponding with the brake cable (if brakes are included), and insert the screw into the positioning hole at the desired height. At proper height, the handles should reach the user's wrists in a standing position. When both handles are at equal height, rotate the adjustment knobs clockwise to secure in place. Repeat on the other side.

Attach the wheels to the base of each leg. Slide the tube of the wheel through the base of each leg until the pushpin locks into the corresponding hole. Rotate the adjustment knob on each leg clockwise to secure in place. Attach the backrest to the rollator by sliding it into the backrest support tubes until it snaps into place.

Attach accessories after the rollator is fully assembled. Hook your basket in the position stated in the device's instructions -- on the front of the rollator or under the seat. Snap the tray into position by aligning the pins on the bottom with the corresponding holes on the rollator.
