Where is the duodenum found in human body?

The duodenum is the first and shortest segment of the small intestine in the human body. It is located in the upper right portion of the abdominal cavity, just below the stomach. The duodenum is connected to the stomach by the pyloric sphincter and to the jejunum by the duodenojejunal flexure. It is approximately 25-30 centimeters long and is C-shaped.
