2. Blood cell production: The skeletal system produces red blood cells (RBCs) in the bone marrow. RBCs carry oxygen throughout the body. The cardiovascular system transports RBCs to different tissues and organs, delivering oxygen and removing waste products like carbon dioxide. Without the cardiovascular system, RBCs would not be able to reach the tissues that need them, and the body would not be able to function properly.
