Many of these have been diagnosed with an annular bulge containing an annular tear, which is just another name for a herniated disc. Some may choose to ultimately treat this condition via surgery. 1
Understand what side your herniated disc is on. That side will be called the "affected side." Stand with the affected side next to a wall. Place your feet together and about a foot away from the wall, parallel to the wall.
-
2
Lean up against the wall with just your shoulder and upper arm. Completely rest your weight on the wall, leaving your feet where they were originally placed.
-
3
In a slow and controlled fashion, bring your hips to meet the wall, keeping your feet stationery. Once your hips have made complete contact with the wall, return them to their original starting position over the feet.

Repeat this 15 times twice a day until you reevaluate your condition with your doctor.
