How to Measure for a Walker
Whether you have an injury that requires a walker, or your health conditions require you to use something extra for mobility, you want to make sure the walker you are using is right for your body. Before purchasing the walker, test it out and measure to be sure that the height and size of the walker is comfortable and suitable for you.Things You'll Need

Place your normal walking shoes on your feet, and stand straight as you normally would, with your hands at your sides.

Have someone use a measuring tape, measuring from your wrist down to the ground.

Measure your walkers to match up the measurements. The walker height should be the same height as your wrist to the floor.

Check for walker adjustments. Typically at the bottom of your walker you can adjust the legs several inches to make the walker taller or shorter.
