How to Wear an EpiPoint Elbow Strap
The EpiPoint elbow strap by Bauerfeind is an orthopedic device commonly used to treat inflammation and pain that occur with elbow injuries involving repetitive stress and overuse such as tennis elbow. The strap applies pressure and support directly to the outer muscles and tendons of the forearm that affect the elbow—lowering inflammation and reducing pain by forcing overworked areas to rest and heal. Bauerfeind designed the EpiPoint with an adjustable hook-and-loop strap fastener for ease-of-use on either the left or right arm.Instructions

1
Position an open EpiPoint elbow strap around your forearm. Hold your arm out away from the front of your body. Place the large end of the strap over the widest point of the outside of your forearm so the curved EpiPoint strap automatically wraps under the arm with the narrow end of the strap near your torso.
-
2
Bring your arm and strap against the front of your body to free up your hand so you can thread the strap.
-
3
Slide the narrow end of the open strap—hook-and-loop fastener side facing up—through the D-ring buckle attached to the wide end on your forearm.
-
4
Pull the narrow strap end until the closed loop of the EpiPoint strap tightens to a comfortable level around your forearm and then press the narrow strap end against outside of the strap to fasten. If you see red threads on the short stationary strap that attaches the D-ring to the EpiPoint, unfasten the EpiPoint and adjust the strap as red on the D-ring strap indicates that you've over-tightened the EpiPoint.
