How to Wear an Ace Elbow Brace
Using an Ace Brand Elbow Brace is an easy and inexpensive way to treat pre-existing sports injuries, such as tennis elbow, and prevent future injuries. The brace is essentially a long cotton-elastic, or neoprene tube that allows flex at the elbow. Wearing an elbow brace properly is essential in order to fully benefit from the support the brace offers.Things You'll Need

1
Extend the arm until it is as straight as possible without causing pain and parallel to the ground. Hold the fingers out straight and parallel to the ground and relax the muscles in the arm.
-
2
Hold the brace with the opposite hand by the edge that will rest on the upper arm once positioned properly. Ensure the brace is properly rotated so that the top of the brace will be on top of the arm and the bottom of the brace will be on the bottom of the arm.
-
3
Pull the elbow brace firmly over the lower arm and elbow with a single smooth motion. Do no jerk or tug on the brace.
-
4
Position the elbow brace so that the elbow and the bend of the arm are positioned at the apex of the brace. There should be an equal length of the brace's fabric positioned above and below the elbow.
-
5
Bend the elbow, taking note of any parts of the brace that pinch the arm or cause pain. If necessary, adjust the brace upwards or downwards until the brace is in a comfortable position.
