  1. Making Dandelion Tea For Joint Pain

    • 1

Find dandelions that have not been touched by pesticides or other chemicals. These are best found in fields, meadows, on your front lawn or in your back yard. Dandelions by the side of the road will be polluted with fumes. If you do not live near an area where dandelions grow, contact your local florist or plant nursery about special ordering dandelions. For one cup of tea, cut the flower heads off of about 5 flowers. Rinse the flower heads in cool water.

    • 2

Place a handful of flower heads (about 5) in a medium size sauce pan. Add enough water for them to float. This will make enough for one to two cups of tea.

    • 3

Boil the dandelion heads in water for about 20 minutes.

    • 4

Drain the boiled dandelion water and pour into a cup. Throw the flower heads away, as all of the nutrients have been steeped into the tea. Add stevia for sweetening and lemon for flavor. You now have an herbal tea that will help relieve your joint pain.
