Focus on an immobile object, immediately. When you begin to feel dizzy, sit down and sit very still then focus on a single object. You may also lie down and focus on an object.

Avoid tobacco and alcohol. Tobacco and alcohol may restrict blood vessels and make your symptoms worse.

Turn on a light that provides good lighting if you get up in the middle of the night. Proper lighting will help you to avoid bumping into things that can make you lose your balance and become dizzy.
