What are dormant neurons?
Dormant neurons are found throughout the brain and spinal cord, and are thought to play an important role in a variety of brain functions, including memory, learning, and behavior. For example, dormant neurons in the hippocampus have been shown to be essential for the formation of new memories.
The study of dormant neurons is relatively new, and much is still unknown about their function and role in the brain. However, research in this area is rapidly growing, and is expected to lead to new insights into how the brain works.
