Is there a funny bone in your hand?
There is no "funny bone" in your hand. The name "funny bone" is a common term for the ulnar nerve, which runs along the inside of your elbow and down the forearm to the wrist. When you hit your elbow, the ulnar nerve can be compressed or irritated, which can cause a tingling, numbing, or painful sensation in the forearm and hand. This sensation is often referred to as a "funny bone" sensation, but it is not actually caused by a bone.
