Can you get a cast for bruised bone?
Generally, a cast is not used to treat a simple bone bruise. Treatment for a bone bruise typically involves rest, ice, compression, and elevation (RICE), and may include over-the-counter pain relievers. In some cases, physical therapy may be recommended to help restore strength and mobility to the affected area. However, if the bone bruise is severe or if there is a fracture involved, a cast or splint may be necessary to immobilize the injured area and promote healing.
