Cope with the itching from the cast by pouring baby powder down it. Use a blow dryer that is on the low setting to push the powder throughout the cast. This will temporarily relieve the itch.

2
Take a shower by covering the broken leg in a plastic bag. This will protect it from getting wet while you shower. Make sure to sit on a shower chair while you bathe so that you don't slip.

3
Slide into your clothes by covering the cast with pantyhose. This will prevent the cast from hanging up on your clothes.

4
Ride the bus when your broken leg is in a cast. This is necessary even if it is not your driving leg that is broken. A cast can make driving cumbersome and cause you to get in an accident.
