What can happen mixing temazepam and buprenorphine?
Mixing temazepam and buprenorphine can cause a number of adverse effects, including respiratory depression, sedation, coma, and death.
Both temazepam and buprenorphine are central nervous system depressants. When taken together, they can cause the sum of their effects to be greater than either one alone. This can result in a slowed breathing rate, which can lead to respiratory depression. Sedation and coma can also occur, as the combined effects of the two drugs can make a person very drowsy and unresponsive. In severe cases, death can result.
In addition to these effects, mixing temazepam and buprenorphine can also cause a number of other side effects, including:
* Nausea and vomiting
* Dizziness
* Confusion
* Hallucinations
* Seizures
* Liver damage
* Kidney damage
* Addiction
Temazepam and buprenorphine should never be taken together unless they are specifically prescribed by a doctor. If you are taking either of these drugs, talk to your doctor about the risks of mixing them with the other.
