Can you get chlamydia from a bicycle seat?

Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by the bacterium Chlamydia trachomatis. It is not transmitted through contact with surfaces such as bicycle seats. Chlamydia is spread through sexual contact, including intercourse, oral sex, and anal sex. It can also be spread from an infected mother to her newborn baby during childbirth.
