Can you get chlamydia from deep kissing?

Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by the bacterium Chlamydia trachomatis. It is spread through contact with infected bodily fluids, such as semen, vaginal fluid, or anal fluid. Deep kissing can theoretically transmit chlamydia if there is direct contact with infected fluids, such as if someone with chlamydia in their saliva kisses someone else on the mouth.
