1. Gather your supplies.

- Long cotton bandages (4 inches wide)

- Warm water

- A large basin or sink

- Gloves (optional)

- A moisturizer

2. Wash and moisturize the affected area.

- Before starting wet wrap therapy, wash the affected area with a gentle soap and warm water.

- Pat the skin dry and apply a moisturizer to help prevent dryness and irritation.

3. Soak the bandages in warm water.

- Fill the large basin or sink with warm water.

- Dip the cotton bandages into the warm water and allow them to soak.

4. Apply the wet bandages.

- Put on gloves to protect your hands from the water.

- Starting from the bottom of the affected area, apply the wet bandages in overlapping layers.

- Continue applying the bandages until the entire area is covered.

5. Leave the wet bandages in place.

- Leave the wet bandages in place for at least 30 minutes.

- You can also leave the bandages on overnight for more intense treatment.

6. Remove the wet bandages.

- After the recommended time, gently remove the wet bandages.

- Pat the skin dry and apply a moisturizer.

7. Repeat as needed.

- Repeat wet wrap therapy as often as needed to manage your skin condition.

Tips:

- Use sterile water or boiled water to reduce the risk of infection.

- If the bandages feel too tight or cause discomfort, loosen them or remove them.

- If you experience any skin irritation or discomfort, stop using wet wrap therapy and talk to your doctor.
