Eight Week Cholesterol Cure

Cholesterol is the bandage of the internal body. If it is exceptionally high then that means there is an excessive demand for it in the body. This indicates something is off in your body. On top of that, having a higher amount of LDL, specifically the oxidized LDL, has the potential to lead to heart disease. Follow the steps below and you have a good chance at dramatically lowering your cholesterol in eight weeks or less.
  1. Cut Out Processed Foods

    • Processed foods rob your body of nutrition, and the chemicals and preservatives they are manufactured with cause damage to your body. Try to avoid anything that comes out of a package. You should especially avoid the following: high fructose corn syrup; artificial sweeteners (aspartame, sucralose/splenda); and Trans-Fats. The trans-fats are the worst, and are the only fat that has actually been linked to high cholesterol and heart disease. They are in almost all fast foods, and almost everything that comes out of a package. These can often be hidden in products under the name hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils. Look under the ingredients list, and if these are present, put it back.

Remember that all of your carbohydrate sources should have at least some fiber. You need to have a minimum of 25g of fiber every day.

Eat a diet lower in carbs, and higher in healthy fats

    • During the day you should eat simple: raw (uncooked/unprocessed) fruits and vegetables, and light protein such as full-fat milk, eggs, cheese. During the day keep your calories low, and the types of foods very simple, the idea is to let your body rest, and only eat what you need to keep you going.

At night you switch. Go ahead and have a big dinner, but eat it in the following way. Start with a salad or any uncooked/raw vegetables you have. Follow that with your protein (meat, dairy, cheeses, and beans) and cooked vegetables (preferably steamed). You finish your meal with your carbohydrates: bread; pasta; potatoes; rice. You may eat as much as you desire so long as you eat healthy portions of raw vegetables and protein.

    Do a full body cleanse

    • Your body likely has an accumulation of toxins that is causing your cholesterol to rise. Doing a good full body cleanse that includes your colon, liver and kidneys may help remove these toxins, and help you lose weight at the same time. The Dual-Action cleanse is a great choice because it is a 30 day cleanse that will not impose on your lifestyle.
