1
Eat lots of fresh fruit. The natural acids in the fruit will stimulate your system, helping to process the fat and convert it into energy as well as provide a number of wonderful vitamins and nutrients that are good for you. Avoid canned fruits since these are often preserved in heavy syrups filled with sugar and preservatives.

2
Eat plain popcorn, breads, pastas and cereal. These are all good for you when they are plain, meaning no salt, butter or cheese. The carbohydrates are fine with these foods, and they are healthy and have very little fat, if any at all.
-
3
Drink low-fat milk. Everyone knows milk does a body good, but only low-fat or skim milk. Avoid whole milk. You want the good fat in your body, not the excess found in whole milks.

4
Buy lean meats like fish and chicken. You still need protein, but you must be careful what you choose. Lean meats like fish, chicken and even turkey give you all the protein your body needs while cutting down your fat intake significantly. You can have a steak every now and then, but choose ones that have less fat on them, or remove the fat before eating.

5
Chew on nuts, avocado and seeds. These are all great snacks filled with healthy fats that are beneficial to your system. Eat these on a somewhat regular basis, but not every day.
