How to Use Purell

Bathrooms aren't always the cleanest of places and can make you collect more germs on your hands when you touch door handles and faucets. Hand sanitizer by Purell kills germs with a fast-drying formula for quick and effective sanitizing when you aren't able to wash your hands. There are several forms of portable hand sanitizing products, such as wipes, miniature bottles, full-sized bottles and a pocket-sized spray.

  Push down on Purell's pump to dispense a quarter-sized amount of hand sanitizer into the palm of your hands. Rub your hands together while distributing the sanitation liquid evenly over your hands. Continue rubbing the product on your hands until it dries completely.

  Tear the packet of the sanitizing wipe, and remove the wet cloth from the packet. Rub the cloth over your hands for 30 seconds or until the cloth is dry to properly sanitize your hands. Throw away the sanitation cloth after use.

  Aim the spray bottle toward your palm, and press down on the sanitizer spray dispenser to coat your hands with the product. Rub your hands together until dry.
