Wanting to know what a walk in clinic can do that my own doctor not do. Can treat cold & flu symptoms?

Here are some things a walk-in clinic can do that your own doctor may not be able to:

* Walk-in clinics are often open when your own doctor's office is closed. This can be convenient if you need medical attention outside of regular business hours.

* Walk-in clinics can provide a variety of services, including basic medical care, minor surgeries, and laboratory testing. This can be helpful if you need a simple procedure done or if you need to have some tests done.

* Walk-in clinics are usually staffed by experienced medical professionals. This means that you can get high-quality care from someone who is qualified to treat you.

* Walk-in clinics can often provide care more quickly than your own doctor's office. This can be helpful if you need to be seen by a doctor right away.

Here are some things a walk-in clinic cannot do that your own doctor can:

* Walk-in clinics cannot provide comprehensive care for chronic conditions. If you have a chronic condition, you should see your own doctor for ongoing care.

* Walk-in clinics cannot provide mental health services. If you need mental health services, you should see a therapist or counselor.

* Walk-in clinics cannot provide prenatal care. If you are pregnant, you should see an obstetrician or gynecologist.

* Walk-in clinics cannot provide specialty care. If you need specialty care, such as surgery or cardiology, you should see a specialist.

If you are not sure whether a walk-in clinic is right for you, talk to your own doctor.
