Why are flu vaccines not produced in the US?

Flu vaccines are indeed produced in the US. Several pharmaceutical companies in the US, such as Sanofi Pasteur, Merck & Co., Seqirus, and GlaxoSmithKline, manufacture flu vaccines for the US market and for distribution to other countries.
