Directions for Using a Kaz Vaporizer

Vaporizers work to relieve the nasal symptoms of colds and flu. They work on the simple premise of boiling water that is funneled out of a spout and releasing the steam into the air surrounding the vaporizer. Kaz Vaporizers have a cup for inserting soothing medications such as a mixture of camphor, eucalyptus and menthol. The aroma of this mixture combined with the steam is likely to help an ailing person rest, which is the best cure for any viral infection.

  Remove the vaporizer from any wrappings and unravel the plug from the base of the vaporizer.

  Place the vaporizer on a flat, sturdy surface, such as a bed stand or night table, at least 4 feet away from the head of the bed of the person who will be using it.

  Take off the cover and remove the steam motor. Fill the basin of the unit with cool fresh water to the fill line. Do not put in more water than instructions advise. If your water tends to have low mineral content, add 1 teaspoon of salt to the water.

  Replace the steam motor, holding it in place for 15 seconds to let the water enter the assembly.

  Remove the medication cup and add chest rub or other aromatherapy medications or herbs. Plug the vaporizer into a working electrical outlet near the bed of the sick person. Check the water level every 3 hours.
