In order to prevent visual problems from sinus disease, avoid highly allergic areas, foods and beverages. Maintain a healthy immune system by eating well, sleeping at least eight hours a night and drinking at least six, 8-oz. glasses of water daily.
Complications

If a sinus infection is not dealt with properly, it can lead to an eye infection, which could have devastating effects if not cured. An eye infection can leave permanent visual issues and may need to be treated in a hospital.
